Host Families

accommodationWe pride ourselves in having caring and hospitable host families who provide far more than just board and lodging. They are friendly and take time to get to know their students. Many have been working with us since we first started. We personally visit and vet every family on our register. They all have up-to-date security checks in accordance with the requirements of the UK Accreditation scheme.

They provide full-board (breakfast, packed lunch and an evening meal). The bedrooms may be shared with other students. They meet their students on arrival and take them back for departure.

In some programmes such as Courses for School Groups, host families provide daily transport for their students

We have a number of qualified teachers on our Home Tuition Programmes who accommodate students in their own homes and teach them individually.

Residential Summer Camps – campus accommodation

accommodationResidential English language courses and programmes are offered at our Plymouth Centre.  Accommodation is in the Halls of Residence on the campus of the University of Plymouth.

The facilities consist of modern purpose-built blocks arranged into flats of 6 single study bedrooms with en-suite facilities. Every flat is equipped with a self-contained kitchen / dining room which can also act as a common room for the residents of that flat. There is 24-hour CCTV on site. Every resident is issued with a key which accesses the entrance door to the block, the apartment and the bedroom. Laundry facilities with coin-operated machines are also available.

Breakfast, lunch and evening meals are provided in well-equipped cafeterias.

Hotels and Other Holiday Accommodation

Some adult students prefer to stay in a hotel or self-catering accommodation. Our tutors will run courses in the students’ chosen residence.
